2021-22 Topps Merlin UEFA Champions League Soccer Checklist Overview

The Merlin base set consists of 150 total cards. Both veteran stars and rookies are included.

Every card has a large parallel rainbow of more than 20 different colors and patters:

Autographs and Inserts

With one per hobby box, there’s a steady flow of signatures in 2021-22 Topps Merlin UEFA. The majority of these are found on the Base Autographs portion of the checklist. Not only do these have a similar design as the main part of the product, but there’s also a sizeable number of parallels:

Merlin’s Match Ball Signatures add a memorabilia layer to the product’s hits. Available exclusively in hobby packs, all have serial numbers including the set’s Orange Refractor (/25), Red Refractor (/10) and Superfractor (1/1) parallels.

The checklist has four additional insert sets. These have some of the boldest designs in not only this product, but for most soccer card sets in recent memory.

Youth is the theme in U23 Stars (1:6 packs). Collectors can also expect to find both Prophecy Fulfilled (1:9 packs) and Ageless Alchemy (1:18 packs) cards in every hobby box.

Renaissance, which has a stained glass influence for its design, is case hit landing 1:216 packs.

All four insert sets have additional Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/10) and Superfractors (1/1). All but U23 Stars also have numbered autographs for select cards.

2021-22 Topps Merlin UEFA is the follow-up to last year’s similar chromium release.
